How does it feel to be all alone? How does it feel to not know anything about yourself besides your own name and the function of simple golden shell locket? How does it feel to see everyone else remembers and reunite with their loved ones after the curse has been broken while you’re the only one who’s still struggling with not much memories regained? Melody knows how that feel and it’s not at all pleasant.
And there she was, at Storybrooke’s border. Staring at the bright red line, the only line that separates Storybrooke with the ‘real’ world. One more step and she could forget everything. Forget being alone. It won’t matter anyway since she didn’t have anyone. How much difference could it make? She probably didn’t remember her own family because she didn’t have any to begin with. There’s nothing to lose. In fact, she could have the adventure she had always dreamed of.
Suddenly, she heard a crunching sound, probably from someone stepping on a dry leaf. Without looking back, she tightened the sweater wrapped around her and said, more like a plea. “P-please don’t –“ She knew that whatever it is that he or she wanted to do was to stop her and she was sure that wouldn’t help anything.
